Setting You Up for Success

We know the interview process can be a challenging experience for both candidates and the company alike. However, we make every effort to ensure that the process is conducted with utmost care and consideration, in order to uphold our commitment to fairness, efficiency, and alignment.

Here are a few things to expect as we get to know one another.

Step 1

Submitting Your Resume

After you submit your information, we will review it for relevant and transferable skills that align with the current role.

Additionally, we will consider your qualifications for potential future roles that may not be publicly advertised yet.

Note: We are a startup, so we review as fast as we can - but we appreciate your patience if we get back to you any longer than 2 weeks.

Step 2

First Conversation with our Team

We use this time to learn about who you are and what you’re looking for - and to make sure we’re the right place, at the right time for you. We’ll share a bit about the company, the role, and go through 2-3 questions.

Note: We really want to get to know you, but the interview is a 2 way street. Ask us what you want to know.

Step 3

Assessment

We aim to gain insight into your day-to-day performance on the job by asking questions that are similar to the challenges you may encounter regularly. However, we understand that you may have other life responsibilities, so we have designed the questions to take no more than 1-2 hours to complete.

Note: No work is based on an actual existing or prospective client or project. And we’re serious about the time - if you have more ideas or notes, we just ask you to share that with your submission (“If I had more time, I would _____”). But this is not expected nor required.

Step 4

Connecting with the Team

Yay, you get to meet the team! You'll have 3-5 conversations with different team members, each with a unique focus, such as your role, cross-functional collaboration, cultural fit, tactical skills, and a live session.

Note: Depending on the role, we may do one conversation right after your work sample to talk through your thought process. For the live session it could be a presentation (sales), case study, (strategy), or a creative review (design). We’ll let you know beforehand!

Step 5

Interview Retrospect.iv

We conduct an internal Retrospect.iv after getting to know you. We’ll talk about what went well, what could have gone better, and how we want to move forward.

Note: Regardless of how we want to move forward, we’ll do 2 things - we’ll give you a call to share feedback and next steps. And we’ll send you a survey - or your retrospect.iv on your experience with us.

Step 6

Joining Our Team

This is where we hope to end up! If you move forward, we’ll discuss when you’ll be joining the team and get you set up for onboarding.
